After 14 years of full-time teaching as a science and biology teacher, I have come up with more than a few fun and effective tricks of the trade that help both my students and other teachers. I hope to share them with you. :) I have 18 years of full time teaching experience with the Toronto District School Board as a Science and Biology Teacher. I have taught ESL, applied(general), academic, enriched, gifted, as well as college and university preparation science and biology courses.
Structured, organized, visually oriented, with a lot of reinforcement in the form of worksheets, crosswords, task cards, games, interesting activities and projects as well as PowerPoints with a lot of connections to real life.

I am currently a supervisor of the Gardening Club at my school. I have previously also been a supervisor of an Environmental Club.
