I have been in education for 18 years! I graduated a B.S. in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Houston and received my M.L.S. in Information and Library Science from the University of North Texas. I taught K-2nd grade for 15 years and now I am a Library Media Specialist in Dallas ISD at Hillcrest High School. Go Panthers!
I help students learn how to research by teaching skills such as identifying resources that are creditable, citing information, copyright laws, online ethics, and curating their own information. I collaborate with teachers and help them enhance their lessons in the classroom by finding lesson extensions and projects.

I love being at home hanging out, reading, snoozing with my cats, walking with my dogs, and going out to fun restaurants with my husband. I recently got into caring for houseplants so I consider that a new love!
