TEACHING EXPERIENCE

The members of The SPED Squad collectively hold thousands of hours of experience within applications of evidence-based practices based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis with individuals with autism for grades kindergarten through seven. The SPED Squad also proudly serves their local community as part time Behavior Specialist Consultants (BSCs) for a local non-profit for children with behavioral, communication, and/or social needs.

MY TEACHING STYLE

The SPED Squad takes pride in implementing evidence-based practices with the individuals served that incorporate the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) such as direct instruction, discrete trial instruction (DTI), natural environment training (NET), and functional communication training (FCT), to name a few!

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

Ms. Conrad and Mrs. Fisher met in graduate school working in a classroom for individuals with autism. Both were studying Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and were in love with the progress it allowed their students to make! Though they teach in separate classrooms today, both teachers continue to collaborate in an attempt to make their practices as effective as possible! The SPED Squad unites!
