Over the past decade of teaching, I have found that my job brings immense joy and fulfillment to my life. Many educators like myself, find deep satisfaction and a sense of purpose in the work that we do daily with our students. I love the impact I make on the lives of the children I work with; fostering critical thinking, and serving as role model to them, while contributing to the personal and academic growth of my students. My job is to inspire curiosity and a love for learning; to spark students' interest in various subjects, and encouraging a lifelong pursuit of knowledge. Over the past ten years, I have recognized that I play a large role in shaping the future of society by educating the next generation. I also find that it is in my calling to help parents as much as I can with encouraging academic practice at home. I believe that teachers and parents working together contribute to the continuity of learning. When there is alignment between classroom instruction and home support, students benefit from a seamless educational experience.
