MY TEACHING STYLE

Using the "Flipped-Mastery" model, our course utilizes technology and historical documents to facilitate critical thinking and make the students the center of the learning environment. We have recently converted our classroom to be completely digital. Our students watch videos on our YouTube channel and complete all of their assignments using Google Drive files through Google Classroom.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

Welcome to You WILL LOVE History! We are Brent Willis and Mark Lovein and we teach United States History, AP Economics, and Psychology at the high school level in Orange County, California. Together, we have a combined 28 years in education and began collaborating three years ago to make a change and further engage our students. We read a book on flipping the classroom, flipped out, and decided to take on the challenge. Our documents cover U.S. History from the colonies through the 2000. With years of creating activities, we have over one hundred items ready to sell. However, the page is still under construction as we are adding assignments and are creating new activities that will extend through the Obama presidency. We now have assignments and lectures that cover ALL of MacroEconomics and an Introduction to Psychology.
