King Midas Musical Performance Script for Elementary Students
In this show the familiar Greek myth of King Midas is told but the musical performances are anything but traditional! The music in this King Midas play will get your students moving! Popular songs they know and love are woven meaningfully into the tale.This King Midas performance package can be used by an elementary classroom teacher, a music teacher, a summer camp coordinator, or a drama program instructor.This show could be performed by anywhere from 25 to 100+ students depending on stage size
A to Z Black History Poem
This poem is 26 lines long. Each letter of the alphabet represents a figure in Black History. It can be used as a performance piece for Black History Month assemblies, or, of course, any time of the year. The rhymes are in couplets, and the lines are simple - a letter, and then no more than 5 words for each line! This poem can be performed by students at any grade level.
As a performance piece, it can be enhanced with costumes, movement, posters, etc., to bring forth the characterization.
