The song acts as an auditory aid to remember the steps in the RAP strategy.
My students were truly engaged with the song.
Despite on-level oral reading and oral comprehension, many students score significantly below when responding to questions in writing to the same text. The RAP strategy coupled with the song aid students with such responses.
