Lecturitas-SPANISH Biography of Clara Barton-NO PREP
This product has been a great use in my classroom in getting my students to analyze and get prepared for STAAR. This is a completely SPANISH biography of Clara Barton. The question stems from the assessment are exactly from the 2015 STAAR Spanish tests. My kids have grown so much from products like these and others I will be uploading. Black History Week 5-Olympic Athlete & Leaders
This is the last of a 5 week unit about Black History that includes information about the past Winter Olympics in Russia, history of the Olympic rings and colors and honors Jessie Owens. It includes higher order thinking questions and common core standards. Week one was living famous African Americans and had a free download that explains more about creating the five week class chapter book. Week 2 was Inventors, Week 3 was Activists, Week 4 includes President's Day.

Day of the Dead (El dia de los Muertos) Deceased Person Project. This is the perfect cultural project for the Day of the Dead (El dia de los Muertos) or Halloween. Have your students research their favorite famous deceased project. This is one of the most odd and fun projects that I've had the privilege to share with my students. This also makes a great history assignment- especially during the month of October. Research a famous deceased person, or as my students say famous dead guy (or gal)!

It aligns right with the www.pebblego.com website if that is what you use for research. If that is not what you use for research, it does a great job of covering everything you would need for a Biography.
This also covers the standards for teaching table of contents and glossary. The students will have both in this book.
