Langston Hughes Close Reading Unit (Individual Unit)
This close reading unit is a great resource to introduce your students to Langston Hughes and celebrate Black History Month. It can be easily differentiated to support your own individual classroom needs.
It has been scaffolded to follow the progression of Common Core Anchor Standards for reading (grades 2-5). Included are three corresponding common core activities that can be used for close reading, guided reading, homework or even assessment!
