Retelling Strip for Response to Reading
Hands-on practice for children who are learning how to retell a story in sequence and with detail. Applies to any fiction story. Can be used as-is, or cut and glued onto a sentence strip. Kids can color, or print on brightly colored paper. Fold accordion style, laminate and put in children's book bins for independent or partner retelling practice after each book read. Use over and over for retelling/summary/sequencing. Great for DRA practice.
