Many of my students have a difficult time with reading comprehension. As part of a nonfiction unit they are working on in their ELA classes, I modified the articles for my students and used guided text boxes to help them collect details. After each paragraph, there is a text box that aids in comprehension and collecting important details to support the main idea of the article. There is also a vocabulary word list included!
