This is a simple social story I have used with children who have a hard time sitting still and waiting their turn to speak when learning on the carpet. Children enjoy reading the story aloud or having it read to them, and the more times they read this story the more they will remember what they learned. Usually I print out the book and allow the student to write their name and color on it, which promotes their interest in reading it.
