This is the perfect way to teach your students about summarizing and add some rigor to your lesson. Each word is worth 25 cents and students have to write a summary for a book that equals exactly 2 dollars. I have also include a $5 and $10 summary sheet as well as a sheet where you can decided how much each word is worth and the summary total.
