This google slides activity contains a link to the song Slippery Fish by Charlotte Diamond. Following the song is a game where students are asked to describe what they see in a picture (using action verbs, pronouns, or SVO sentence structure). After the describe the picture, students will watch as slippery fish escapes from the sea creatures in the song. This is a great activity for targeting beach/sea life vocabulary, expanding utterance length, labeling action verbs, and using he/she pronouns.

This song includes 150 sight words! I wasn't able to incorporate every Dolch sight word, but the lyrics do use words from each list (Pre-K through 3rd grade). The recording is set to a lyric video so kids have to read along as they sing. (You can find the lyrics in the pictures.)
