In this mini unit, students will read about the Caretta Caretta Club as they prepare to become volunteers at the Sea Turtle Rescue Center. In addition, students will complete activities about the writing process. Ultimately, they will write a personal narrative, become familiar with becoming a volunteer and be exposed to environmental issues.
