Based on the philosophy of positive behavior support, Tier 1 strategies are used with your entire class. Good morning Preschool Families today is “Show and Share Tuesday” please allow your learner to bring a backpack-sized item from home for Show and Share today. We use titles for the days of the week, to remind children about past, present, and future concepts. This strategy also promotes defining our Class Community Rules, as they are learning what responsibility means by remembering to bring an item from home or wear wacky socks on Wednesday etc.

STUDENT PLEDGE: Say this pledge every morning with your class! Make a poster!
This pledge can be said as a rhythmic rap or a poetry style pledge. It reminds the students every day to be a good person, and a good American! Each student can receive a copy of the pledge, and hang it up as a poster in your classroom. They will look forward to saying it every day! Repetition is the mother of learning. Have a great year of learning. You can have one child in the front of the room leading the rap every morning. This is a good quick oral character activity.
