Ines Alvidres is a Hispanic artist who was born in Chihuahua, Mexico, but calls Beaumont, Texas her home. She credits her inspiration for the beautiful colors and abstract designs from the Tuahumara people and her cacti, birds, and flowers are full of every color of the rainbow.In this project, students will use all of the colors of the color wheel to create their desert scene, and include Alvidres' signature gold borders.
