TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been teaching in a suburb just west of Phoenix in Arizona going on 5 years now. I currently teach Geometry and Geometry Honors to predominately Freshmen and Sophomores. Geometry is by far my favorite subject! I absolutely LOVE proofs and have since I was in high school.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I try to make math as fun and interesting as I can. I love finding games and activities online and using them as often as possible. I use all of my resources in my classroom and I think my students enjoy it. I know math isn't every kid's favorite subject but I try to make it better. There are some AMAZING sellers that offer great resources and I appreciate everything everyone creates!

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I graduated high school in a suburb outside of Buffalo, NY with an Advanced Regents Diploma (for taking AP Spanish and 4 years of math). I then went to Buffalo State College where I graduated with a Bachelor's in Secondary Mathematics Education, which is more of a mathematics degree with some education classes thrown in :) I just graduated in 2015 from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix with my MBA with an Emphasis in Finance

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

I was born and raised in a suburb of Buffalo, NY and moved to Arizona to start my teaching career. My mother is a teacher and helped me realize my dream of being a teacher at the young age of 6. Teaching has always been my dream profession and so far, it has been all I've hoped for!
