TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been teaching at the elementary level for 12 years now and and have recently begun a new role as an instructional coach. I love supporting teachers and helping them discover new resources and ideas! I recently received my doctoral degree in Educational Leadership. My love of learning continues! I enjoy developing engaging professional development experiences for teachers to strengthen their practices and to find time for meaningful reflection.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I believe in hands-on, active lessons! I love to incorporate technology in my instruction and seek to always have my students sharing, discussing and discovering! I believe that teachers must be life-long learners and promote this pursuit in their students! I am also a very strong advocate for project-based learning that is both authentic to the students we teach, and honors their backgrounds and differences.
