I'm a professionally licensed biology teacher in the state of Massachusetts. I have been teaching science for 13 years. I have taught many different science classes but my favorite to teach are biology, forensic science, and environmental science.
I love teaching my students with hands-on labs and believe we all learn best by doing. I am passionate about creating excitement about science and making real-world connections so they care about the subject matter.
I earned my Masters of Education in Secondary Science in 2011. I have been awarded "Teacher of the Year" by my high school in 2013 and became an AP Biology teacher in 2013. In 2017, I was awarded a trip to the NABT conference in Denver, CO. I have led student advisory lessons, conservation club and advised National Honor Society.
I earned a Bachelors in Biology from Springfield College in 2010 and earned my Masters in Education in 2011. I have since participated in many courses at UMASS, Westfield State University and Framingham State University
