As a Spanish teacher in a high school I realized a need to differentiate my lessons in accordance with the common core standards so that all of my students can “Simply Learn Spanish.” By making each lesson relevant and meaningful, and by incorporating technology, my lessons have been proven highly successful.
I enjoy engaging students using interactive activities and technology. I carefully choose relevant and meaningful vocabulary and expressions to increase interest and confidence when simply learning a foreign language. I also include cultural webquests and activities so that students learn about the people/culture/customs of all Spanish speaking countries.

To prepare our students for post secondary programs or 21st century careers, schools are recognizing the importance of all students to become proficient in a foreign language. My goal is for my products to bring students to proficiency in the Novice Low/Mid range and give students the confidence and desire to continue learning the language.
