Hello there! I have been teaching middle school science since 2013. I have spent the last several years working primarily in urban middle schools teaching physical, life and earth science. Prior to teaching I served two years in an AmeriCorps program working with EL students in a middle school science class. A year after my AmeriCorps service I gained my teaching license through a revolutionary and exciting teacher residency program called Twin Cities Teacher Collaborative, otherwise known as TC2 where I student taught in both a 9th grade and 10th grade biology classroom. I have experience in tutoring EL students with ClubZ and have volunteered tutoring adult English Learners through the Franklin Learning Center. If you have any questions about my work please don't hesitate to message me. Thank you!
I am a teacher that is very much in support of bringing real world application into my classroom. I want my students to take what they learn in class and apply it to situations and experiences they will face after school. I model all of my labs and projects off of my own experiences at the University of Minnesota Morris so my students will be prepared for their education in the post secondary world. All worksheets and labs in my store I have tried and tested in my own classroom. I always strive to make my resources fun, educational and also affordable for my fellow teachers.

I am always trying to incorporate as much technology into my classroom as possible, many of my labs and projects can easily be modified for use with iPads, smart board activities with whole group or computers
