I have taught a wide variety of grade levels through being a long-term substitute teacher before becoming certified to teach Business classes specifically. This allowed me to broaden my knowledge of each grade level and subject. I believe this has helped me to become a better teacher. Before teaching, I used my first degree (Business Administration) in the Corporate world. This provided me with real-life opportunities that am able to bring to my classroom today.
I believe in a more creative approach to education. I firmly believe in switching up instruction and lessons to provide students with different learning styles. I try to offer students oral, kinetic, visual, and written learning pathways through learning.
I was awarded the "Outstanding Student in Business Education" with my second degree. I also graduated Summa Cum Laude with both of my degrees and "Who's Who" award on my first degree.
I hold a bachelors in Business Administration and a bachelors in Business Education.
