Library Genre Scavenger Hunt

Use this exploratory activity to reinforce the concept of common fiction genres, or to provide your students with an opportunity to explore the fiction section of your library (and perhaps discover a new treasure)! If using this activity with a full class, it helps regulate traffic flow in the stacks to limit the students to one area using the author line (ex. they have to find examples of each genre only using authors whose last names start with A-D).
