TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been teaching history for over 6 years and have exceeded growth and received 85%+ proficiency each year working!

MY TEACHING STYLE

Technology driven, student engaged, high level thinking, reflection based, and of course student writing is all incorporated into my classroom. It is important to make learning fun and relatable. If your students aren't having fun, they will not learn! Think about what you know, it is linear to your passions. Make the passions align and you will see great results. My resources touch on those passions, but also make it engaging for students, as well as resourceful so that any student can succeed. I found in my experience that reading and understanding text can be very difficult. With my SOAP strategy worksheets, students can enjoy history just as much as we do!
