TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been an English teacher since 2002. I've taught grades 6-10. During my time as a public school teacher, I was an Adjunct Instructor teaching Freshmen English, Business writing, and Writing and Communication Skills for teachers. I am currently a high school English teacher serving adults ages 18+ (no age cap) who have returned to school to earn their high school diploma.

MY TEACHING STYLE

My teaching style varies depending on my group of students. I do some lecture, but I've been doing assignments and activities that will allow students to lead class discussions. I am currently working on developing a flipped classroom style of teaching for my classroom using Google Classrooms.
