I use this activity to help get my students talking about a story after we read it. They use the cards as a guide for the conversation while also enjoying a snack such as cereal.
I find that this gets the students interacting and expressing their thoughts while also defending their ideas. It has improved their ability to use details from the text to support their answers.

I love to use this poster as a visual aid for think pair share activities. As described by Reading Rockets (2022), Think-pair-share (TPS) is a collaborative learning strategy where students work together to solve a problem or answer a question about an assigned reading.
