ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

I began teaching in 2002. I started out as an English/ Language Arts teacher but went back for my special education certification. My first few years of teaching were primarily teaching English at an alternative school; my final year there was cross-curriculum in an ED self-contained setting. Since 2006, I have primarily taught co-taught (general education) in the Social Studies and English/Language Arts departments, as well a the special education settings. Some of my items have been adapted for the co-taught and/or special education setting. Before teaching, I worked with k-8 students in an before/after school and day camp setting. Additionally, I have 2 years experience as a writing tutor at Concordia University. Many of the items I am posting are graphic organizers and video guides that I have created for history and language art classes.
