7th Grade Social Studies Tennessee Standards Checklist
This printable is so useful in the classroom. It lists all of the TN state standards for 7th grade social studies. Next to the standard are blank spaces for the teacher to write in the date that standard was taught. The last column is a space for the teacher to fill in the percentage of students who mastered the standards based on formal or informal assessment. The use of this standards checklist makes life so much easier, especially when it comes time to do report cards.

Unit Learning Goals: Introduction to Geography and Culture
This is an editable Microsoft Word document that allows you to easily post your learning goals in large font.

Modern Nomadic Mongolian Video/Response Space
An opportunity for a cultural engagement activity, with the nomadic people of Mongolia. This is a great video that my students 6-12th grade have always loved to watch. The form that goes along with the video is a quick check for engagement, and all together this is a good 20-25 minute activity, if you top it off with a class discussion where you review the questions, it would easily go 25-40 minutes.
